Shares of British luxury carmaker Aston Martin Lagonda surged, as the company’s positive 2023 guidance offset pretax losses last year.

After reducing headcount by about 10%, CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski said Klarna will return to profitability on a monthly basis by summer 2023.

The raises were part of a 2020 cost-cutting agreement with the union.
